Coming with a clean and fresh aesthetic reminiscent of the days when jeans were for working the fields comes the collabo between Acapulco Gold – one of the up and comers quickly establishing their street cred, and Mark McNairy – Creative Director over at super WASP-Y J. Press.

You know we stay digging on prep and work wear inspired style – check for these fly 14 and a 1/4 oz selvedge joints along with the boots to drop Fall ‘10.

I am loving Alyson Fox right now.  A multi-faceted artist who’s into jewelry-making, illustration, fashion photography – a complete trifecta of the imagination!

Her style is a bit stark, kind of crisp and cool like a breeze coming in off the ocean.  The visual presentations she creates seem to be mired in a hipster-ish POV, but with the tiniest twinge of innocence dancing around the edges.

Oh, to only be a creative type.  I yearn for it.  Yet while I continue my personal journey of creative discovery, I will get lost in the admiration I feel viewing the work like those of Ms. Alyson Fox.

So of course I flipped when I saw Ms. Keys rocking the Riot in next months issue of Rolling Stone.

One would not immediately conjure up images of leather-clad fingers and palms when the word “fashion” comes across the frontal lobe.  Nina Peter is out to change all that.  Her highly-styled gloves, depicted in a high-stylized fashion photo display do nothing if make one suddenly drool over all things gloves and desire a pair or five for self.

Studs, cutouts, chains, and sexiness will figuratively [and literally] ooze out of your hands, should you choose to go the way of Peter.  Odd as it may sound, the gloves are fly as hell…oh, and did I mention you could do a mean “jazz hand” while donning this beauties??
